A 120sqm home an architect designed and custom-built for his own family, now open to yours. Almost every piece is a genuine antique, set against modern lines so it reads warm, not fussy. It sits on Burgos Street, the street people across Manila come to when they want a night out, so it is built for a group that wants to drop their bags, pour a drink, and walk straight into the action. ★ Our first guest, five stars: "everything in the photos and details is correct." / / / WHERE EVERYONE SLEEPS ▪ Master: king bed, ensuite bathroom, room-darkening curtains, high-capacity Daikin AC. ▪ Second bedroom: queen bed, LG wall-type AC, and a large in-room safe that holds more than passports — big enough for bigger valuables too. ▪ Third bedroom: single bed with a pull-out trundle, LG wall-type AC. ▪ Every room: a ceiling fan, a full-size wardrobe, and dimmable mood lighting (spot, soft, and main settings). ▪ Travelling with a baby: a full crib set is available on request. Here is the honest part, and it matters: because you are on Burgos Street, you will hear the city. There is real noise every single night, not just weekends, and it is louder on Friday and Saturday — foot traffic, street traffic, and the nightlife itself. The unit is not soundproofed, so the street comes through. For the right group that is exactly the point. You came to be in the middle of it, and when you want to reset, you step back into a beautifully made home that is all yours. [Not For Light Sleepers] This is the single most important note. The home is on Burgos Street, the nightlife heart of Poblacion. Expect real noise every night — walking crowds, traffic, bars and clubs — and noticeably more on Friday and Saturday. The unit is not soundproofed, so the street comes through. If you need a quiet night's sleep, this is not the right stay, and we would rather tell you now than have it spoil your trip. For night owls and groups out late, it is perfect. [Residential Building] This is a private residence, not a hotel. No staff live on site 24/7. If anything comes up we act as fast as we can in the app. [Bed Configuration] The home sleeps 6: a king, a queen, and a single with a pull-out trundle in the third bedroom. Beds can be set up to suit your group — message us before arrival. [Third Bathroom] The bathroom off the kitchen and laundry is cold-shower only (there is hot water at its sink). The master and living-room bathrooms have full hot water. [Maintenance] Occasional building maintenance (for example the elevator) may happen. We give advance notice whenever we can. [Deposit] We apply a credit card hold deposit for stays. Used for excessive electricity use (if 14 days or more) or damage. Amount visible at checkout. [Smoking] No smoking indoors. Use the balcony or terrace with the door closed.
